On the 4th of July, more pets go missing than on any other day of the year! Consider these tips to keep your furry friends safe & sound while enjoying the fireworks.
Exercise your dog early in the day, before the festivities begin.
Be sure that your pet is wearing a visible & up-to-date ID tag on their collar, or consider having them micro-chipped.
Keep charcoal, fireworks & sparklers, and glow-sticks away from curious pets.
Leave the animals home with a frozen treat during the fireworks.
Play gentle music to mask the booms if your pet is afraid of loud noises.
